I applied for the HSBC American Express and that was why it was denied. Just wondering what that meant.

It means they denied you based on your credit history (or lack of one).

It means you have NO credit to base an approval off of. Now all you have is declines. You DON’T need your first credit account to be for the HSBC American Express, you will end up with HORRIBLE credit! Get a gas card!

It means that you don’t have enough credit history.
