Under Credti Debt
I had 4 credit cards that i got in college. I have paid off two and i have a balance of $4000 total on the other two. Both have already been submitted to collections in order to improve my credit score should i just pay off the full $4000 or go through a debt repayment program (like in charge) ?

Under Credit Application
Ok. Basically, we have some unpaid medical bills. The hospital wants their money paid in full, or for us to apply for a loan from City National Bank and make monthly payments.
I really don’t want to apply for the loan in my name, as I feel I am maxed and any additional loans may hurt my credit. My wife isn’t working, but she does babysit sometimes for money. The application is really simple, it asks for employer and estimated monthly income. Could she get financed with “babysitter” as employer? Or “self-employed”? She has never had credit before, no credit card, nothing. So is it worth a try? Should I just get the loan in my name and work on her credit through a pre-paid card or something? Thanks!

I heard that you credit score would go up anywhere for 30-40 point if you pay a credit card off that is maxed out (if the balance is over a 1,000.00) Is this ture?? And if not does anyone know about what it would go up?
